# C2PA 1.3 Manifest Signing

> Injecting cryptographic provenance manifests into media containers.

The C2PA manifest engine creates and injects C2PA-compliant provenance records directly into video containers at the point of ingestion.

## Verification Compatibility

Media files signed with this manifest can be verified using any standard C2PA-compatible tool (such as Content Authenticity Initiative verify portals or standard provenance viewers).
