# Protection Microservice

The Silicon Trust™ protection engine operates as an isolated, containerized microservice engineered for high-throughput video processing and manifest injection.

## Security & Isolation

* **Isolated Execution:** Media processing tasks run in a sandboxed microservice environment separate from edge routing.
* **Service Authentication:** Inter-service requests are authenticated via cryptographic HMAC-SHA256 request signatures.
* **Ephemeral Processing:** Media buffers are held in memory or temporary volumes during transformation and immediately purged following successful delivery.
