You will learn how to accept or counter financial offers for your media. When a newsroom places a bid on your scoop, you receive a real-time notification. You manage all active negotiations in the Offers tab.

Reviewing an Offer

Every offer you receive is backed by Verro™ Escrow. This means the newsroom has already committed the capital, and the funds are locked. You never have to chase an agency for payment. An offer details:
  • The bidding agency (e.g., BBC Newsroom, Reuters, AP).
  • The exact price in GBP.
  • The licence type (typically exclusive).

Responding to an Offer

You have three options when reviewing a bid:
  1. Accept: Instantly triggers the atomic settlement. The Digital Deed is transferred, the broadcast-quality file unlocks for the agency, and the escrow releases the funds to your account.
  2. Counter-bid: Propose a higher price. The original offer is voided, and the agency must accept your new terms.
  3. Reject: Dismisses the offer.
Once you accept an exclusive offer, the scoop is immediately removed from the live marketplace, and no other agency can bid on it.
